Hey Coach Risley here, there is one main component in our personalities that usually hinders us from progressing and that’s the inability to act. Most of the things listed today are common sense, but that does not mean it’s easy. Without further ado, are any of these 4 things something you need to work on?
Sleep: This is no surprise! Getting appropriate recovery is the key to great performance in and out of the gym. Prioritize it no matter what! Here’s how you can work on that with these next few actions on the list.
A general guideline is to get anywhere from 6-9hrs/ night.
Time Management: One of the reasons why we tend to not recover well from training is because we find ourselves short on time due to doing things we want to do instead of needing to do. Aka, get your work done on time and you will have more sleep!
Procrastination is the enemy.

Nutrition: The higher quality fuel you put in your system, the better the engine will run. This is true, so make sure you’re doing your best to have a well-moderated diet where you can hit both micro and macro nutrition targets.
Good food, good mood.
Training: You’re all over the place with this one! Organize yourself and make sure you have a purpose for your training. In order to progress you need structure and develop a basic understanding of your body and when it’s time to take a break.
You can’t max out forever but, we can definitely get strong together.
If you’re currently on top of these 4 things, congratulations, your life is in order! For those still having trouble with this, keep working on these traits and watch your progress soar in training.
